Floriade 2012 relates the story of horticulture using 5 core themes, translated into 5 different themed zones in the park.

Relax & Heal - Wellbeing

Horticulture makes life healthier by promoting both our physical and mental wellbeing. Resulting in better vitality and optimum joie de vivre. Visitors will taste, smell, feel, hear and see the influences of horticultural products on our wellbeing. This theme includes topics such as healthy eating, rituals and religions and sports activities.

Design theme
Just like the human body, the predominant feature of Relax & Heal is organic shapes. No straight lines here, but fluid paths and soft, lustrous, grassy hillocks. Combined with the stunning flowers and trees, a harmonious landscape is created; a place where you can relax just by being there.
